        Admissions Requirements

        Applying for the Master of Science in Supply Chain Management is just a click away! See if you qualify.

        You must have an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution. Preferred degree types include 

        • Business 
        • Engineering
        • Technology
        • Logistics (Military)
        • Transportation

        If your undergraduate degree is from an academic field not listed above, you must have more than two years of relevant experience in the supply chain field. In general, we encourage applicants with supply chain management work experience to apply for this degree program.

        Already enrolled in a graduate program at Auburn University? Have a GPA of at least 3.0? Then, you are eligible to apply to the MS in Supply Chain Management program.

        Currently enrolled in one of the supply chain graduate certificates? You can also qualify for the MS degree program. In addition, any courses required for the degree program can be transferred.

        Admission to the Master of Science in Supply Chain Management is competitive with standards that may exceed the requirements of other Auburn graduate certificate and degree programs.

        Application Procedure

        To apply to the MS in Supply Chain Management program, schedule an appointment with the admissions advisor.

        Application Checklist

        A completed application includes the following:

        • Application fee paid to the Graduate School
        • Official undergraduate transcripts and GPA
        • GMAT or GRE scores 

          Spring & Fall 2022 GMAT/GRE Waiver Policy

          For the 2022 admissions cycle, the MS in Supply Chain program will waive the GMAT/GRE test score under the following criteria:

          Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution and:

          • 2+ years of experience* AND 3.50+ GPA
          • 4+ years of experience* AND 3.25+ GPA
          • 6+ years of experience* AND 3.0+ GPA 
          • 8+ years of experience* 
          • Terminal Degree 

          *Experience is defined as professional, full-time and post-undergraduate or military experience.

          Additional waiver requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Waiver requests can be completed online; however, it is advised to schedule an appointment with an admissions advisor in advance of submitting your request.

          Important to note: Being granted a GMAT/GRE waiver does not guarantee admission to the program.

        • Official TOEFL or IELTS score (international students only)
        • Personal Statement
        • Two letters of recommendation
        • Professional Résumé

        The graduate committee will review all applicants’ credentials. This process will determine your suitability and entrance into the Master of Science program. All recommended applications are sent to the dean of the graduate school for approval.

        Application Process

        Applications for admission to the Full-Time Master of Science in Supply Chain Management are managed by the Auburn Graduate School. To apply:

        1. Begin your application by creating an account for the online Graduate School Application.
        2. Upload copies of all admissions documents listed above to the online application.
        3. Once an official admissions decision is made, you will receive a notification email. You must both accept our offer of admission and pay a $450 confirmation fee to secure a spot in the upcoming class.
        4. The final step is to enroll in classes for the semester.

        Deadline

        With rolling admissions you may begin the program in the Fall and Spring semester. To enroll in your first semester of graduate studies, you must submit a completed application package by:

        • Domestic applicants: 45 days before the start of the semester (Fall start: July 1st, Spring start: November 15th).
        • International applicants: 90 days before the start of the semester (Fall start: May 15th, Spring start: October 1st).
